Access your Discord account and go to Settings.
In the My Account tab, scroll down and click Enable Two-Factor Auth.
Enter your Discord password and click Continue.
Download the Authy or Google Authenticator app for your smartphone or tablet:
Open the app you just downloaded and scan the QR code displayed on the screen
Enter the 6-digit verification code displayed in the app into Discord
Click Activate
Click Enable SMS Authentication to enable 2FA on Discord via SMS.
Once you set up 2FA on your Discord account, a pop-up dialog box asks you to enable SMS authentication and download backup codes. If you lose access to the authenticator app on your phone, Discord can use your phone number to verify your account. You should also download backup codes and keep a local copy somewhere safe.
Please provide one of these backup codes to us in order to upgrade your account.
